Presented in a sleek, museum-style mount, this authentic oviraptor dinosaur eggshell fragment comes from the famous Nanxiong Formation of southern China — one of the world’s most important Late Cretaceous egg-bearing sites.

The fragment displays the characteristic micro-textured, slightly curved surface typical of theropod eggs, once protecting the developing young of agile, bird-like dinosaurs known for their beaked skulls and complex nesting behaviour.

Oviraptors were small, bird-like dinosaurs, famous for their clever nesting behaviour — often found curled over their eggs to protect them. Owning a piece of their eggshell is like holding a snapshot of life from 70 million years ago, straight from a Cretaceous nest.

Responsibly collected and professionally framed, this specimen offers a rare glimpse into the reproductive world of small to medium-sized theropods that lived shortly before the end of the age of dinosaurs.

A perfect addition to any fossil collection, or an excellent gift for dinosaur enthusiasts of any age.
