These are confirmed to be GENUINE strands of hair belonging to the Mammuthus primigenius (Woolly Mammoth), sourced responsibly from Tamiyr, Siberia, Russia.

 The permafrost season in Siberia is brief, and material can only be collected for a few weeks each year, this combined with current regional high tensions makes the availability of authentic material very low, making this a unique collectors item.

GEOLOGICAL ERA: Pleistocene era, dated to anything from 10,000 yrs to 1.8 Million years old.
