This tooth dates back to the Cretaceous period (~145–66 million years ago) and likely belonged to a member of the Anhangueridae or related pterosaur family, known for their impressive wingspans and aerial hunting abilities.

Pterosaur teeth are significantly rarer than those of land-dwelling dinosaurs, making this a special addition to any fossil collection. These flying reptiles soared over ancient river systems, preying on fish and small vertebrates with their long, pointed teeth.

While called 'Pterodactyls' in popular culture, the Cretaceous Anhangueridae belonged to a broader pterodactyloid group, distant relatives of the classic pterodactyls of the Late Jurassic

An excellent opportunity to own an authentic piece of prehistoric sky history.
Perfect for display, education, or as a unique gift for fossil enthusiasts.
