A stunning example of the extinct tabulate coral Lithostrotion, collected from Holderness, Yorkshire, England. This specimen has been partially polished on the face, revealing the intricate internal structure of its corallite chambers and highlighting the remarkable complexity of this reef-building organism that originates from the Visean stage of the Carboniferous (~340 million years ago).

The fossil displays a striking range of colors from warm orange to deep blue, emphasizing both the natural beauty of the specimen overall and the patterns of its internal architecture.
Its combination of coloration and high detail makes it one of the more striking coral specimens we have seen.
