An ancient Egyptian bronze figure depicting Osiris, God of the dead and ruler of the underworld, represented in his traditional mummiform form.
The deity stands with his arms bent across his chest, holding the crook (heka) and flail (nekhakha), symbols of divine authority and kingship. A false beard rests against his chest, while his head is surmounted by the Atef crown, incorporating the royal uraeus cobra.
At the bottom of the figure, an original integral cast attachment pin is present, likely used to mount the Osiris to an ancient wooden base or box.
The figure displays a rich, uncleaned surface patina, providing a distinctive appearance to the bronze.
