An exceptionally preserved specimen of the extinct decapod shrimp Carpopenaeus, from the Upper Cretaceous deposits of Lebanon, renowned for their exquisite fossil preservation. This shrimp displays full appendages and intact facial rostral spines, providing a rare, three-dimensional view of its skeletal morphology.

The specimen’s natural orangey-brown coloration highlights delicate exoskeletal structures, while a small vivid-red red fish scale is preserved on the same matrix, offering a tangible glimpse into the ancient marine ecosystem. Such associated elements are uncommon, making this piece particularly desirable for collectors and researchers alike.
